Shelby has experience in real estate, urban planning, and financial account keeping.  Her family is involved in multiple facets of the real estate industry and she has years of experience working in their real estate appraiser business and managing their portfolio of vacation rental properties. 

Shelby has experience in urban planning and GIS, which she gained while working in the Planning and Zoning Department in her hometown. More recently, Shelby gained seven years of experience in financial account keeping. She excels at paying great attention to detail and helping her clients find solutions that best suit them. 

Shelby attended Virginia Tech, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy and Planning.  Originally growing up in a small town in Virginia, Shelby moved to Chicago following college graduation.  After working and living in a big city for a bit, she relocated to Kalamazoo in 2015.  In her free time, Shelby and her husband Andy enjoy running about with their two dogs, being involved in the Kalamazoo Rugby community, traveling to explore new places and visiting family & friends all over the country.
